The Monastery is located on the southwest coast.Built in the 18th century, the imposing monastery with its impressive bell tower, is dedicated to the island’s patron saint, none other than the archangel Michael.
The monastery also includes two museums in its yard. The first museum hosts silver icons, pontificals, Russian epitaphs, ecclesiastical vessels, and various religious items. The other museum displays an exhibition of folk culture, including items relevant to fishing, agriculture and shepherding. The Monastery of Archangel Michael also hosts a library with Byzantine manuscripts of religious, historical and philosophical content.
We continue our cruise with the second stop to be Symi island is one of the gems of the Dodecanese island chain. It stands out of the other Greek islands for its beautiful architecture, colorful houses, and a relaxed atmosphere. The port of Symi seems to have popped out of a painting! The first thing that catches your eye as you approach Symi by the boat is the colorful mansions around the port.The yacht remains at Symi port for two hours in order our guests to explore this beaty
Last but not least is our stop at St George bay “disalonas” the waters there are ideal for swimming and fishing, but also is the perfect place to enjoy a full lunch on board,(the options are: delicious greek mousaka, chiken with potatoes, lazania, any request for glutten free or vegetarian meal is available. Drinks is also included at the hall cruise( soft drinks, water,bear,wine) This location is of extraordinary beauty because of the steep rock that seems to have been cut by a knife. These vertical massifs at an altitude of 350m are ideal for climbing and are considered to be one of the most difficult climbing tracks.
